About Najik
Is Najik free?
Yes. Najik is free to download and free to use. You never pay to see what’s happening near you.
Which cities is Najik in?
We’re launching in Ahmedabad and building the city out area by area, west to east — Bopal and Satellite through to Nikol and Vatva, with the old city in between. The rest of Gujarat follows.
How is this different from Google Maps or Justdial?
Those tell you what exists — a name, an address, a phone number. Najik tells you what’s happening: the offer that started this morning, the stock that landed yesterday, the event on tonight. It’s a feed of today, not a list of everything.
Do I need to create an account?
You can browse your local feed without an account. You’ll need one to save posts, follow businesses and get a feed that adapts to what you like.
Will you share my location data?
We use your location to work out what’s near you, and that’s what it’s for. We don’t sell it. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we collect and how long we keep it.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app, under Settings. Deleting removes your profile, saved posts and follows. Write to support@najik.in if you’d rather we did it for you.
Can I use Najik without giving my location?
You can browse, but the feed won’t be much use — the whole point is that it’s ordered by how near things are. You can also set an area manually instead of sharing live location.
Is Najik available in Gujarati or Hindi?
Yes. The app is available in three languages — English, Hindi and Gujarati. This website is in English for now; the language options in the footer will switch on when the translations are ready.
For businesses
I run a shop. What does it cost to be on Najik?
Listing your business and posting are free. Paid plans add promotion, featured placement and deeper analytics. We don’t take commission on anything you sell.
Will you sell my number to other companies?
No. Your contact details are shown to customers on your business profile, and that’s the only place they go. We don’t sell your data and we don’t pass you to anyone who will.
Do I need a website or professional photos?
No. A phone camera and a few minutes is enough. Most posts on Najik are shot in-store.
